HO CHI MINH CITY -- Vietnam Airlines today completed its first direct commercial flight to the United States -- from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco -- fulfilling a key development milestone. The historic flight recognised a 20-year-effort by Vietnam Airlines since the establishment of its representative office in San Francisco to lay foundations for a direct route between the two countries.
SINGAPORE -- Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines (SIA) are reactivating their codeshare arrangement between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, expanding it to include 15 domestic points in Malaysia, seven destinations in Europe, and two cities in South Africa. This follows an announcement that Malaysia and Singapore will launch a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement beginning November 29, 2021, providing seamless journeys for business or leisure travel.
