Belt and Road International Food Expo – Hong Kong

HONG KONG is to host the First Belt and Road International Food Expo (BRIFE 2018) at AsiaWorldExpo from June 27- 29 to facilitate trade and provide an international platform for buyers, sellers and service providers of food industry to explore opportunities.

Five halls of separate specialised sectors will offer new opportunities and ideas in procurement, business matching and professional business solutions from 73 Belt and Road countries and regions.

Third Belt and Road Summit next Thursday

The third Belt and Road Summit, jointly organised by the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council  will be held on June 28 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

 Themed “Collaborate for Success”, the Summit has invited about 70 Government officials, business leaders and representatives of international organisations from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and around the world to share their insights and to explore collaboration opportunities.

 Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the HKSAR, and Dr Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, will deliver the opening remarks. www.hktdc.org

Thailand Investment Seminar – Perth

Thailand, strategically located at the heart of Asia, is seeking Australian investment in key industry sectors – including biotech, medical tech, smart agriculture and farming, automation and robotics, machinery, automotive and parts, and higher education.

The Thailand Board of Investment in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia will host a seminar in Perth on July 17, 2018, detailing investment incentives available for foreign firms.
