SIA to boost Singapore-Melbourne-Wellington services to five weekly
SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines is to increase its services between Melbourne and Wellington and between Melbourne and Singapore from January 1, 2020, subject to regulatory approval.
From the start of 2020, SQ247/8 will increase from four times a week, to five times weekly catering for increased demand and offering customers more travel options.
The new fifth weekly flight will operate from Singapore as SQ247 every Wednesday at 19:45 local time, arriving in Melbourne at 05:10 local time, departing at 06:50 for arrival in Wellington at 12:10 local time.
The return flight, SQ248, will depart Wellington at 13:30 local time, arriving in Melbourne at 15:25 local time then continuing to Singapore at 16:45, arriving at 22:40 local time. www.singaporeair.com (ATI)
