KrisShop offers 60-minute advance pre-order for duty-free items

SINGAPORE – SIA’s flagship online retail store, KrisShop.com, will soon allow travellers to pre-order duty-free merchandise up to 60 minutes prior to flight departure out of Singapore.

The service will be effective September 5 for travellers departing Singapore on select SilkAir flights on weekdays between 10.am and 4.pm, and will be progressively extended to other SilkAir and Singapore Airlines flights.

KrisShop currently provides pre-ordering services of up to 24 hours for Singapore Airlines and 48 hours for SilkAir flights departing Singapore.

The new service will allow travellers who have already checked in and wish to make a last-minute order to purchase duty-free merchandise before their flight departs – and collect the items on board their flight.
