SIA increasing Australian services to mark 50th anniversary year

SINGAPORE – Singapore will increase frequencies on its services to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane during 2017, which marks its 50th year of operations in Australia.

There will be three additional flights weekly to Melbourne from July17, taking weekly services between Melbourne and Singapore to 31. From January, Melbourne travellers will have a choice of two daily flights offering four classes – Suites, Business Premium Economy and Economy – on a 441-seat Airbus A380.

Brisbane will be service by an additional four weekly flights from August 22, taking the total between Singapore and Brisbane to 28 weekly.

From June 4, two extra flights will be added to the Singapore-Sydney service, taking the total to 31 weekly. www.singaporeair.com (ATI).
