Kerry Hotel brings Hong Kong its first urban resort

HONG KONG – Billed as Hong Kong’s first urban resort, the new-build, 16-storey, 546-room Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong, is to open on April 28. Overlooking Hung Hom Bay on Victoria Harbour in East Tsimshatsui, it is the first hotel to open on the Kowloon waterfront since 1995.

It becomes Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ fourth Hong Kong property.
More than 60% of guest rooms have panoramic views of the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island skyline. Deluxe Sea View Rooms start from 42sq m, the Presidential Suite is 294 sq m.
All five hotel restaurants offer outdoor landscaped terraces overlooking Victoria Harbour, the Red Sugar bar a 270-degree wraparound terrace with sweeping views of Hong Kong’s skyline.
 Hung Tong, the hotel’s signature restaurant, honours Hong Kong’s past while creating a modern experience of Chinese cuisine.
