SYDNEY – Twenty years after entering the Australian market with flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne, Vietnam Airlines has launched a tri-weekly direct service (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) from Sydney to Hanoi, departing Sydney 2.15.pm.
BEIJING - Air China's northern summer/autumn flight schedule offers 395 passenger routes, including 102 international, 14 regional and 279 domestic routes, serving 180 cities in 39 countries and regions, including 64 international cities, three regional cities and 113 domestic cities. Air China will operate more than 8,500 flights with 1.66 million seats weekly 1,330 airports in 193 countries.
MELBOURNE - Singapore Airlines will operate its new Airbus A350-900 on flights between Singapore and Melbourne from May 11, providing a Premium Economy option on three of its four daily flights into Melbourne. SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines and its regional arm, SilkAir, began folding fuel and insurance surcharges into base airfares from March 28. The new fare regime will be implemented progressively by region, and is expected to be completed by May.
SINGAPORE - SIA and its regional subsidiary, SilkAir, have signed an agreement to codeshare on Indian domestic flights operated by Vistara.
SIA will add its ‘SQ’ designator code to Vistara-operated flights beyond Mumbai and New Delhi to 10 destinations within India. SilkAir will add its ‘MI’ designator code to Vistara-operated flights beyond Bengaluru and Kolkata to six destinations within India.
SYDNEY – Vietnam Airlines will launch direct flights from Hanoi to Sydney on March 28, with three non-stop flights weekly, utilising Vietnam Airlines’ new Dreamliner 787-9 fleet in three classes, Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
