Korean brings A380 to Sydney route, goes daily to Brisbane

SEOUL – Korean Air will service its Seoul-Sydney route with A380 aircraft for the peak season from December 2 to March 27, offering three classes of travel, First, Business and Economy. The aircraft offers what Korean says is the world’s first on-board duty-free shop as well as a bar and lounge for First and Business Class passengers.

From December 7, Korean’s Seoul-Brisbane service will go daily, using the latest Airbus A333 aircraft. Daily Brisbane flights are also for the peak season to March 27.  www.koreanair.com (ATI).

Qantas increasing frequencies to Hong Kong, Manila

SYDNEY - Qantas is to add more flights between Australia and Hong Kong and Manila because of increasing demand. From October 22, Qantas will operate an additional four Sydney-Hong Kong services weekly, on top of the current daily services available from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Services from Sydney to Manila will increase from four to five per week between early December 2015 and late March 2016 to offer more capacity during the peak holiday season.

JAL Diamond Premier Lounge for Sapporo’s New Chitose airport

TOKYO - Japan Airlines is to offer its Diamond Premier Lounge service at Sapporo (New Chitose) airport. JAL's Sakura Lounge will be revamped as part of the renovation of the domestic terminal at New Chitose airport.

New Chitose will become the second airport after Tokyo (Haneda) airport at which JAL offers Diamond Premier Lounge service. JAL is also enhancing its lounge services at domestic airports, including Osaka's Itami airport and Fukuoka airport.  www.jal.com (ATI).
